I photoscanned these pumpkins that my partner and I carved. She made the ghost face!

The terrain assets all used 512x512 RGB masks to drive materials. They had an underlying dirt and layers were used for blending in rock and grass. Blue was often used as fake AO or just some colour variation.

This is everything used in the scene apart from the water material. Nice and lean!

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work!

A spooky run down building sinking into a dead swamp. This project was completed in just under 1 month in my free time after work as part of Dintober 2023, a community challenge. I had 2 weekends where I did no work but I did play Spider-man 2 and Alan Wake 2 all of both weekends so it was worth it!

This work is based on the original concept by Grady Frederick https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kQEL10

While time was short and I had games I wanted to play I'm incredibly happy with what I've managed to achieve in just a month in my free time. A huge thanks to all that supported me and gave feedback, special thanks to the DiNusty Empire and the art staff at D3T for their invaluable feedback and help.

Rendered in Unreal Engine 5.3
Assets made in Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Substance Designer. Along with a little bit of photogrammetry done in agisoft metashape. Some textures are photosourced while others were made in zbrush or substance designer. No megascans assets are in this scene.
